Our Summer Vacation Drive

We headed out a little after lunch on Friday to Florida for the start of our 3 week summer vacation.  Guy was able to get out of work early so that worked out great.  Of course we had to stop and do a little Geocaching on the way.  We found this cache in South Carolina.

Keisha the Travel Bug.  Current Goal:  Keisha used to travel with her mommy until she got sick.  Now she travels in spirit via a Travel Bug tied around a stuffed little poodle that is her spitting image.  Keisha was dropped in a cache in British Columbia on 3/12/2010.  She has traveled 13,975 miles.  Some of the places of visits have been California, Alaska (wow), Mexico, South Carolina and now Florida where we will drop her once we find the perfect spot (maybe by the beach).

Our "Little Guy" was worn out and decided to take a nap (Mia didn't).

We drove all the way to Ocala and arrived a little after Midnight.  After getting a room and getting some sleep we were back up at the crack of dawn (literally) to hit the Honda car dealership for our free oil change then we hit the road.  Too early to say hello to friends so we are looking forward to seeing them later during our trip.
