Day At Desoto National Park

We decided to take a drive after our puppy hugging so we ended up at the Desoto National Park.
The kids loved this tree and all took turn taking a picture on it. After reading and learning a little about Desoto we took off on one of the hiking trails. Once we finished that up we headed indoors for a movie about Desoto’s Expedition. It was a good way to cool off. The kids enjoyed the park and it was nice that they learned something too.

Well I learned something too. I didn't even know that there was a Desoto National Park. We will have to check it out the next time we are visiting Grandma and Grandaddy.
